The App was made to be very simple to use but still has a lot of advanced features. After installing the app you can start adding widgets to your store by going to your Shopify admin -> Apps -> Floating Widgets.
You will be redirected to the app. You will see a live preview of your store on the right and a sidebar that lets you easily configure your widgets.
You can start by creating widgets using the plus button. When editing or creating a widget, you can choose to either create an image floating box or a frame floating box. To create an image floating box, you simply need to type in the image url or upload one from your computer. You can also type a link url (optional) that will be opened when a customer clicks on the image.
On the other hand, to create a frame floating box, you need to type in it URL.
Several other features are available to let you stylize and configure your widgets. The App can let you create a wide variety of widgets. You can even embed youtube video widgets by copying the videos URL in the frame URL field.
Due to browser restrictions and security features, it is very recommended to use HTTPS urls instead of HTTP urls. Also, some websites disallow the use of their pages in frame mode. This limits the pages you can embed.
